Court Justified Navapolacak Human Rights Activist Dzmitry Salaujou Who Didn’t Let Tax Inspectors In.
On June 21 Navapolacak town court finished consideration of the complaint lodged by human rights activist Dzmitry Salaujou against Navapolacak Inspection on taxes and collections. The court passed the verdict in favour of the human rights activist.
On May 7, 2004 Dzmitry Salaujou was fined for 190000 roubles by Navapolacak Inspection on taxes and collections for refusing to let the Inspection officials into his office. That incident happened on March 9, 2004 and on April 21, 2004 a written report on administrative offence was composed against Mr.Salaujou. He was charged with hampering the inspection officials to conduct check-up. During the court examination it was cleared out that the prescription for inspection was not drawn up properly and that there were no legal reasons for the check-up.
Judge Badnarchuk Albina passed the following verdict: to acknowledge the actions of the officials of Navapolacak Inspection on taxes and collections without authority, to terminate the administrative case in relation to Dzmitry Salaujou and to reclaim the paid fine and law charge from the Inspection on taxes and collections in Navapolacak.
