On June 11 Zhlobin court Judge Zoya Lasowskaya rejected the claim of Marat Afanasyew to the administration of metallurgical plant. Marat Afanasyew, activist of the United Civic Party, deputy of the 13th Supreme Soviet sued the plant administration for his discrimination. In March the plant administration issued three penalties to Afanasyew as a head of the bureau during one day, and fired him. Marat Afanasyew considers the actions of the plant administration persecution for political reasons.
