On 3 May the head of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka was summoned to Minsk Savetski Borough Board of Internal Affairs to be interrogated as a law-offender concerning the events of 26 April, “Chernobyl Way” organization. A. Liabedzka wasn’t an applicant for the authorization of the action and didn’t take part in it despite his being present in Yakub Kolas Square. The police tried to detain him, but he managed to escape.
A. Liabedzka came to the BBIA. However, while the police composed the report of violation (Article 167.1 of the Code of Administrative Violations) it was found that the content of the police reports didn’t match the video film of the action. That’s why the report wasn’t drawn and A. Liabedzka was let go.
