According to RFE/RL, on 22 April the head of Slonim district organization of the BPF “Adradzhenne” Ivan Bedka received a warning.
Ivan Bedka received the official permission for the meeting, but the police composed two reports on him. First was for the usage of white-red-white flag. In the second they wrote that the BPF party wasn’t registered in Slonim and therefore the meeting was unauthorized.
At the trial Ivan Bedka explained that he filed the application for the meeting not from the party, but from the public association BPF “Adradzhenne”. Judge Tamara Khamianets pointed at absence of the administrative violation upon article 167-10 but warned him for violation of article 167-2 – usage of unregistered symbols.
