On 20 March Baranavichy City Court sentenced the activists of the unregistered “Zubr” movement Mikita Sasim and Andrey Chyzh to 10 and 7 days of jail respectively. Judge defeated their solicitations for advocatory services. According to “Charter-97”, it was the punishment for distribution of independent press at Baranavichy Textile Industry College. It’s worth mentioning that on 2 March the Baranavichy college unit of Belarusian Republican Youth Union with Mikita Sasim at the head joined the oppositional youth movement “Zubr”. That’s why this imprisonment can be an act of revenge.
