In the evening of 16 October an ambulance was called to the office of Vawkavysk “Radio-taxi 22222” where 13 taxi drivers are keeping hunger strike. Mikalay Awtukhovich, who has been hungering for 6 days already, got worse.

“My eyes and skin went yellow”, -- said the businessman, -- “I was taken to the district hospital. There they made analyses and again offered to put him under a dropper. However, I again answered that I will keep my hunger strike in the office.”

Mikalaw Awtukhovich thinks that such reaction of his body is a result of the two hepatitis illnesses he had, one of them in Afghanistan. He said that the medics again wanted him to give the acknowledgment that he refused from hospitalization, but he didn’t sign anything.

When the businessman was in hospital, Vawkavysk major Mikhail Savelyew phoned to the office.

“I phoned him after my return to the office”, -- said Mikalay Awtukhovich. “We spoke “about life” for about 20 minutes. As a result the major promised to file me a written ultimatum in the morning of the following day and said that if I executed its conditions the cars would be returned to me.”

Workers of Hrodna Regional Tax Inspection who conduct the check-up of the businessman’s activity as a result of which the 13 taxis have been arrested, paid a visit to the office of the “Radio-taxi 22222”. According to the hunger-strikers, two inspectors were escorted by two police lieutenants. The inspectors checked the businessman’s documentation since 2 till 5.30 p.m.
