The warning is based on the ground of the results of the check-up, carried out by the Ministry of Justice in July.
RFE/RL reports, the Justice Ministry claims, a number of LDP branches have violated the organization Statute. For several years they did not carry out general meetings of their members. Besides that, the Ministry claims LDP provided it with wrong information about the number of its members.
Liberal Democratic Part leader Siarhei Haidukevich does not agree with the conclusions, made by the Ministry officials and considers the warning “legally ungrounded”.
