VARUTA LIQUIDATION SUSPENDED

On May 28 Brest regional court held the second session on Varuta liquidation case. Public Association Regional Development Agency Varuta is charged with incorrect usage of its name. During the first session Varuta representatives requested an inquiry to the state register. The judge satisfied the petition. During the second session the justice department asked the judge to suspend the case, grounding their motion on the fact that all documents regarding Varuta liquidation had been requested by the Justice Ministry for additional examination. Varuta representatives did not oppose the motion. As the result, the court suspended the case for uncertain time. According to Varuta representative Volha Kharlamava, it’s important to slow down the proceedings, for the organization is going through re-organization, to become a foundation.
