BURGLARY IN THE APARTMENT OF NAVAPOLATSAK CITY COUNCIL MEMBER

On 4 April between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. strangers broke in the apartment of Vasil Halavatskikh, chair of Navapolatsak organization of the Belarusian Popular Front Party and member of Navapolatsak City Council. Vasil lives with his wife and 5-year old daughter. Sviatlana, his wife, reported about the burglary to the police. Strangers broke the door locks, caused damage to the furniture. Valuable materials were not stolen. Only papers and documents were scattered on the floor. Strangers did not take a TV set, a VCR, and other equipment. Probably, they were more interested in money and documents.
Let us remind you, that Vasil Halavatskikh is the only member of political parties in opposition, who won the race to Navapolatsak City Council.
