The prosecutor requested a year of imprisonment for political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk
On October 14, another trial of political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk under Article 411 of the Criminal Code (malicious disobedience to the requirements of the penal colony administration) began in the Rečyca District Court. The case is being handled by judge Stanislau Ivaniutsenka, who last year added a year of imprisonment to the woman's sentence.

The husband of the political prisoner, Andrei Sharenda-Panasiuk, announced the position of the prosecution on his Facebook page. The state prosecution is represented by prosecutor Yauhen Malaletnikau.
Recall that Palina was detained on January 3, 2021 and has been imprisoned ever since. Her sentence has already been extended twice under Article 411 of the Criminal Code. Two sons, Slavamir and Stakh, are waiting for her release.
In July, Palina's relatives learned that the woman had been diagnosed with "chronic pancreatitis of moderate severity." Recently, her husband wrote about a severe deterioration in Palina's health.
