Assault on “Radio Liberty” Correspondent

Approcimately at 9 p.m. on September 28 unknown persons attacked the correspondent of “Radion Liberty” Hienadz Kiesnier. Kiesnier went out of a bus, then somebody hit him in the head for several time. The journalist lost consciousness and was taken to hospital with an open craniocerebral injury.

In September 2002 analogous assault were made on the politician, editor of the indepandent newspaper “Zhoda” Aliaxiei Karol and the literary worker Adam Maldzis. In all cases the criminals weren’t found.
