He is accused of asking a professional lyceum student whether he came to vote early voluntarily, when he was an observer at the election.

A charge on administrative violation has been made against a BCD member and a journalist of the Internet-portal "Westki" Kastus Shytal, who was an observer of the campaign "Human Rights Defenders for Fair Elections" at the presidential election. He is accused of violation of Article 13 of the Electoral Code. Shytal, being an observer, allegedly asked a professional lyceum student whether he came to vote early voluntarily, on December 15.

The charge has been made by a chief legal advisor of Hlybokae district executive committee Liudmila Karol. According to the case's materials, provided to Kastus Shytal for studying, an employee of the Hlybokae district executive committee' ideological department Maria Matsulevich filed a claim against him.

Maria Matsulevich claims that Shytal questioned the voters who had come to the polling station, published false information in the Internet and threatened the members of the election commission. The public prosecutor's office refused to start a criminal case upon this claim.

An administrative case has been started against Kastus Shytal for breaking the electoral legislation. The court trial will take place on March 3 at 9 a.m., Westki.info informs.
