Civil Society Parallel Forum Takes Place in Minsk
The Parallel Forum aims to strengthen the human dimension in the OSCE region and to avoid ignoring human rights issues amidst new challenges in the OSCE region.
At the Forum, special attention will be paid to efficiency of international mechanisms in the sphere of human rights in Post-Soviet countries of the OSCE region, and in particular, to assessment of changes in the human rights situation and problems of civil society in Belarus after the publication of the Report on Belarus within the OSCE Moscow Mechanism.
A hundred representatives of Belarusian and foreign human rights NGOs have been invited to the Forum, as well as representatives of the PA OSCE and state officials.

Panel 2: Human rights in countries of former Soviet Region and beyond: new challenges and threats
Organizers of the event: the Human Rights Center Viasna, the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, the Assembly of NGOs of Belarus, the Belarusian Association of Journalists, the Center for Legal Transformation, the Belarus Human Rights House named after Barys Zvoskau jointly with the Civic Solidarity Platform.
