Collection of signatures in support of the nomination of the candidacy of Aliaksandr Lukashenka for the elections was organized at branch No. 1 of Homieĺ city central polyclinic.

According to one of the medics, they were ordered to come to the hall of the polyclinic with their passports at 12 a.m. - 2 p.m. on August 4. There was a woman in the hall who introduced herself as a member of the electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukasenka and collected signatures in his support.

Signals about such "forced-voluntary" signature collection during office hours are regularly received from various enterprises. For instance, last week Homieĺ citizens reported “Human Rigths Defenders for Free Elections” about the collection signatures for Aliaksandr Lukashenka in Homieĺ Regional Clynic Hospital. All medics were ordered to put their signatures for fear of having future problems. Signatures for Lukashenka were also collected in the office of the master of school No. 27 in Homieĺ during working hours, as well as at the railroad car repair plant and a factory of concrete products.
