The topic of people with disabilities was discussed at language courses in Babruisk

Citizens of Bobruisk discussed the problems of people with disabilities at the language courses. Got acquainted with the etiquette, pieces of advice of communication , prepared by the Office on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

There were wheelchair persons Sviatlana Yakoauleva and Anastasia Fedarava, a disabled of group 3 Vital Murashkevich at the meeting. The guests spoke about their own experience with job search.

-Usually when the employer find out that I am in a wheelchair person, they frightened, and I get refuse to work. They think that if you cannot go, then you have something wrong with your head - said Sviatlana Yakoauleva.

Employers don’t say the real cause of refusal - a disability, they are trying to find some small causes and making excuses - adds Anastasia Fedarava.

Vital Murashkevich focused on the relationship between people with disabilities and healthy people.
It is considered that people with disabilities are dependent and they constantly need to be sympathized with, but we want to be equal - said Vital. - This also applies to employment and everyday relations. Changes must occur in the people, in their heads, and then will be work for people with disabilities, and ramps, and other things. But for now, unfortunately, I cannot even dream about promotion at work.
There also was the architect Dzmitry Murashka at the meeting, he spoke about the norms that should guide developers and builders. The issue of barrier-free environment caused great interest among visitors and students of the courses.
