Eight delegates of the founding congress of a collation called “For Honest and Fair Elections for the Sake of a Better Life” were detained by road police on Saturday on their way to Minsk.
According to one of the detainees, Uladzimir Katsora, the minibus was stopped on suspicion of involvement in a road accident.
As a result, the vehicle was searched and the passengers were transported to the nearest police department.
The delegates were eventually released without charges. However, all of them were fingerprinted.
