The defendants were charged with having taken part in an unauthorized commemoration of insurgents of 1863-1864 on 27 October.

Anatol Valiuk was the first to be fined. The judge Zhana Salahubik refused to summon his witnesses, referring to the fact that they figured in a similar case as accused.

This time, the police was unable to demonstrate the video recording which had been made at the action. Anatol Valiuk states that he wasn't present on that video, and was simply fined for being present in the center of the city that day.

After this case, the judge Salahubik quickly considered two analogical cases – against the head of the Svislach branch of the Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada Viktar Dzesiatsik and a member of the educational public association “Leu Sapeha Foundation” Yury Hlebik, and sentenced them to pay fines of 1 million rubles as well.
