Each year, Index celebrates individuals and organisations from around the globe who have shown outstanding courage and creativity in safe-guarding free speech.
Nominations close on November 23. Then the jury will shortlist the candidates for each category. The Belarusian candidates were proposed in categories "Journalism" and "Advocacy".
