Slutsk observer appeals signature verification results

Vital Amialkovich, observer registered in Slutsk constituency election commission No. 67, has lodged a complaint with the Central Election Commission, saying that the verification of signatures submitted to the commission was not legal.

The appeal was lodged after the observer was not invited to the commission’s sitting and therefore could not monitor the legality of the procedure.

Apart from that, Vital Amialkovich says a number of supporters of local pro-democratic candidate Aliaksandr Solap, who was denied registration, were subjected to harassment by the lection commission members.
