The district authorities decided to destroy the library and recreation house in the village of Prypernaye. This made the local inhabitants angry.

In Hlybokaye district, educational and cultural establishments are closed almost each year in the villages with little population. However, the population of Prypernaye makes 216 people, there are many young people, so the local inhabitants bravely stood against the authorities' intentions. They were most angry because of the fact that no one warned them. Even the librarian found out that her workplace would be liquidated only today.

Journalists Uladzimir Skrabatun and Zmitser Lupach called head of the ideological department Mikhail Charapkouski who is the deputy of the district council in this area. Besides, he promised to restore this building in his pre-electoral leaflet, which preserved in the library.

Now Charapkouski says that the building is in the state of emergency and must be demolished. However, they suspended the demolition until the books are transported out of the building.
