Mahiliou Leninski District Department of the Investigative Committee has dismissed a complaint lodged by local resident Maksim Aliamouski, who demanded to prosecute four policemen for alleged forgery of a fingerprinting examination report and illegal applying of the Interior Ministry’s Decree No. 68.
The official reply signed by senior lieutenant Mrs. Rozhyna says that the actions by policemen Hardzei, Harbachou, Arekhau and Lohvinau lacked the elements of a crime.
However, the reply does mention the forgery charges.
Maksim Aliamouski refused to be fingerprinted on religious grounds. Apart from that, there are no legal acts regulating the procedure of fingerprinting of persons liable for military service.
