Svetlana Vinahradava, the wife of the political prisoner, posted this information on Facebook:

“During this evening and night I registered Pavel in the accidents registration bureau, visited the KGB and Leninski district police division No. 1. Then I was taken to the Leninski district police department, where I informed police he had disappeared. A police captain was an adequate man, he just did his work. When we were on the way to our home to examine the flat if I had killed Vinahradau, I again phoned to the detention centre in Akrestsin Street at 3:30 am and … What a miracle! I took back my application. The policemen were very angry the Maskouski district police department had not told them about the detention... That's all. I'm gonna sleep now. I've got a lot of to do tomorrow...”

Pavel Vinahradau went on hunger strike protesting against the arrest.

Pavel Vinahradau was seen the last time at 5 pm on February 21 at 21 Karl Marx Street.

He was to appear at Mistral cafe near Dinamo stadium at 6:30 pm. He made a telephone call to the person he was to have a meeting with15 minutes before the appointed time. He did not came to the cafe, but two men in mufti were reported to look for something there.
