Iryna Khalip, Sannikau’s wife: “They explained that
Andrei worked on morning shifts. However, he has always been working morning
shifts and he [the lawyer] used to be allowed to meet him. It looks like the
isolation has been resumed”.
Iryna does not know what the lawyer is going to do now. She says that they will
discuss possible variants of their actions when they meet.
Bear in mind that ex-presidential candidate Andrei Sannikau was sentenced to 5
years in a colony for participation and organization of “mass riots”. The
politician is serving his sentence in the colony “Vitsba-3”. According to Iryna Khalip,
Sannikau pled for mercy on 20 November.
