Brest: sellers of lotteries are threatened with dismissal for spreading information about strike

The conflict between the administration of the National Sports Lotteries and the Brest sellers of the lotteries started when the latter ones were told they won't receive wage bonuses for working in winter time.

The sellers intended to hold one-day strike on 31 January and informed local journalists about it. As soon as this information was spread by mass media, the head of the Brest branch of the National Sports Lotteries Ala Lukina officially disproved it referring to the absence of written addresses of sellers.  At the same time, Lukina started summoning the sellers and threatening them with dismissal for “discredit of the organization”.

At present Brest sellers are waiting for an answer from the Minsk administration of the National Sports Lotteries.
