Siarhei Kavalenka, member of the
Conservative-Christian Party from Vitsebsk, is tried by Ina Hrabouskaya, Judge
of the Kastrychnitski District Court of Vitsebsk, on the basis of video and
photo materials from Internet, at which a man who resembles Siarhei Kavalenka
hangs out a white-red-white flag on the roof of the shop “5th Element”
on 27 November.
Two court sittings have taken place already. The third sitting was postponed to
26 December. “Let the court prove that the man on the video is me. They watched
it at the 14 December hearing, but neither the court, nor the police have
direct evidence against me. May be this is the reason why the trial is delayed
all the time,” commented the activist.
