Dziatlava: selling sweets to subscribe to state-owned press

Pupils of gymnasium #1 in Dziatlava organize school fairs twice a year. They sell there pastries, cakes and sweets they bake at home together with their parents.

The fairs at the Dziatlava gymnasium have become a tradition. They are organized in late spring and at the end of the year – the time when the subscription to state-owned editions is conducted …. as the money which is earned by selling cakes and pastries have to be given out for subscription to state newspapers and magazines.
