Baranavichy resident Siarhei Auchynnikau was detained by local police, as he was distributing leaflets advertising the upcoming People’s Congress last evening, local independent web-site www.intex-press.by reports.
According to Mr. Auchynnikau, he was taken to the police station and later fined BYR 525,000 for holding an unauthorized picket.
