Warsaw activists campaign ahead of Bialiatski’s birthday

On 17 September, a number of Polish NGOs launched a campaign of solidarity with the imprisoned leader of the Human Rights Center “Viasna” Ales Bialiatski, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.
The activists have already collected over 1,300 birthday postcards signed by Warsaw residents, including the former Solidarnosc leader and ex-Prime Minister of Poland Tadewusz Mazowiecki and deputy Foreign Minister Krzysztof Stanowski.
