On 16 September, Homel human rights defenders Anatol Paplauny and Leanid Sudalenka launched a regional campaign in support to the imprisoned leader of the Human Rights Center “Viasna” Ales Bialiatski marking his birthday due on 25 September.
The activists are calling on everyone concerned to send a birthday postcard to Ales Bialiatski, who is currently in custody at Minsk city pre-trial prison #1.They are also going to disseminate information on the arrest and charges of the prominent Belarusian human rights defender.
