Dashkevich had another meeting with his lawyer
On 31 August political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich had
the second meeting with his lawyer.
This time there were no obstacles. Zmitser Dashkevich talked to the lawyer over
the phone and told that the situation in the colony was satisfactory. According
to the lawyer, Zmitser was in a good mood. However, he is still not allowed to
familiarize with his case. Moreover, he will be kept in a cell till 10
September.
Dashkevich intends to apply to the KGB, the Maskouski District Court of Minsk
and A. Sukala, investigator of the preliminary investigation department of the
Main Police Bureau of the Minsk City Executive Committee, with the demand to
return him the passport which “has been lost” during the searches held after
the events of 19 December 2010.
Bear in mind that before this the colony administration didn't let Dashkevich
to meet with his lawyer five times. Young Front members also held a
picket near the colony to protest against it. On 30 August an extraordinary
conference concerning torture of political prisoners in prisons was held in Minsk.
