As of 15 August, some 400 personal guarantees for the release of Ales Bialiatski have been gathered by human rights activists across Belarus.
Viasna’s leader has been supported by residents of Minsk, Barysau, Mahiliou, Baranavichy, Zhodzina, Maladechna, Hrodna and other cities of Belarus.
We are expecting to gather at least 1,000 personal guarantees. After that, they will be submitted to the Belarusian prosecuting authorities.
