Minsk: police detained journalist with a metal detector

Journalist Aliaksandr Acharetny was detained in the Minsk metro. According to him, the police attention was attracted not only by the T-shirt with the image of the Chechen leader Kadyrov, but also with the metal detector he was carrying in a box.

Acharetny explained that it was a birthday gift from his wife. "The police looked  at the metal detector with interest. They had a desire to try it out on things, but didn't allow them," aid Aliaksandr. He was released after 40 minutes.
