Ales Kalita is detained

Former leader of “BPF Youth” Ales Kalita was detained by Homel police on the night of April 24.

Ales managed to inform Alyaksei Yanukevich, the leader of the BPF Party, about it, reports the party’s press service. He received an SMS about the detention of Ales Kalita from an unknown phone number at 12.20 a.m. Ales was on his way back from Ukraine and he was going to the funeral of his grandfather, informs Charter’97. The reason for the detention of the democratic activist is unknown.
