On 20 April, Yury Hryniavetski, leader of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party Hramada Babruisk office, was interrogated by local KGB agents.
The politician was forced to admit that he belonged to an unregistered political movement.
“I refused to sign any papers, saying that I am not official chair of the organization and that I do not act officially on behalf of the office”, said Mr. Hryniavetski.
“Apart from that, the KGB interrogators inquired about my partner relations with foreigners and international organizations”, says the activist.
According to Yury Hryniavetski, he is going to appeal the illegal interrogation in local prosecutor’s office.
