The Kyiv human rights defender Maryna Tsapok was going
to Belarus to help the
International Observing Mission of the Committee for International Control over
the situation with HR in Belarus.
She is one of the initiators of the civil campaign For Open Entry to the
Republic of Belarus in Ukraine.
Before this, the head of the Mission Andrey Yurov left Belarus under
demands of the law-enforcement authorities on 18 March. Another IOM
representative, Maksym Kytsyuk, was set down the train on the Belarusian border
in the night of 9 March.
