KGB defines three more Square case suspects

It is said in the report distributed by the KGB Information and Public Relations Centre on March 26.

The most active participants of the mass disorders – Matsukevich V.A., Sharstou A.A. and Hiseltsau D.V. (all born in 1987) were detained on March 21, informs BelaPAN.

"The investigators have indubitable evidence including information presented by witnesses and the accused and photo and video materials testifying to the fact that the mentioned people urged the crowd to assault the administrative building of the House of the Government. These people’s faces were discussed by opposition web resources a lot and they claimed that they were “instigators from the police”. Matsukevich V.A. was taken prisoner by Minsk Office of the Public Prosecutor on March 23, 2011. He is in KGB detention now. Citizens Sharstou A.A. and Hiseltsau D.V. have given a written undertaking to appear when they are summoned”, - informs KGB. 

It is noted that their involvement of in the crime and their guilt will be defined during the investigation conducted by the preliminary investigation department of Minsk City Department of the Interior. 

According to the statement, the State Security Committee “has drawn a line in the search and identification of the persons who provoked the pogroms in Independence Square and took part in them on December 19, 2010”.
