On 26 March, Brest police detained local activist of the Young Front opposition movement Ms. Palina Panasiuk.
The activists was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
According to local human rights defender Ryhor Varvashevich, Ms. Panasiuk was detained for putting up a white-red-white flag with the portraits of political prisoners.
Palina Panasiuk is currently in custody in local detention center, awaiting trial due on 28 March.
