According to interim information, at least 60 persons have been detained by the police during today’s Freedom Day celebrations in downtown Minsk. 30 of them have been reportedly taken to Minsk Savetski District police department, 20 detainees are currently in Tsentralny police station.
Human rights defenders say 17 activists and 1 journalist were detained in the regions.
