Mikola Bianko, a journalist with Radio Racyja, received a telephone call from a
man who introduced himself as police major Aliaksandr Vasiliievich. He asked
where the activist lived in Homel and said that the police wanted to take his
fingerprints.
‘I had been already interrogated on 24 January. I had a ‘talk’ there as a
witness in the criminal case concerning the ‘mass riot’. No minutes were
composed. That’s why this time I advised them to issue me with a writ at the place
of my residence and specify there that I was really summonsed under the law on
dactilography of persons liable to military service, not as a witness in a
criminal case,’ commented the journalist.
