Ivan
Bedka, regional coordinator of Vital Rymasheuski's campaign
headquarters, on Saturday received an official warning from prosecutor's
office in Slonim, Hrodna region, against violation of laws.
Three
prosecutor's office agents in civilian clothes brought the paper to
Bedka's home. One of them presented his prosecutor's office ID. The
activist has been warned against violating Article 54.1 in Electoral
Code of the Republic of Belarus, which deals with mass street actions.
The
Slonim prosecutor apparently aimed to prevent the activist from taking
place in the protests that are expected to take place in October Square
in Minsk on December19. Bedka may face a fine or arrest in case of law
violation, according to the warning.
