Mahiliou constituencies formed with violations, says local HR activist Bukhel

Mahiliou authorities violated the electoral legislation while forming local constituencies, says human rights activist Barys Bukhel.

Namely, the executive authorities failed to coordinate their decisions with territorial election commissions.

Besides, Barys Bukhel was not invited to the meeting where the constituencies were formed despite his official status of an observer, which, according to the human rights defenders, is another evidence of abuse of law.

Similarly, human rights defender Aliaksei Kolchyn argues that Mahiliou Leninskaya district election commission did not give their formal approval of a decision by local executive authorities.
