Third of Belarusians opt for early voting

Almost one third of the electors have chosen the early voting option during the elections to the local councils of deputies of the 26th convocation, BelTA learned from representatives of the Central Commission for Elections and National Referendums.

In Belarus 2,059,230 voters have opted for the early voting procedure, or 29.3% of the number of citizens with the right to vote.

In the Brest Oblast 26.4% of the voters went for the early voting option, in the Vitebsk Oblast – 33.2%, the Gomel Oblast – 33.9%, the Grodno Oblast – 25.4%, the Minsk Oblast – 30.1%, the Mogilev Oblast – 34.3%, the city of Minsk – 23.5%.
