On 8 July the administrative commission of Frunzenski district of Minsk considered a report drawn up against the activist of the civil campaign European Belarus Ryhor Laurouski.
The youth activist must pay 175 000 Belarusian rubles for hanging out a banner ‘Freedom to Political Prisoners!’, the website f-fight.org reports.
Bear in mind that Ryhor Laurouski was detained in Minsk on 28 May 2009. The oppositionist was hanging out a banner ‘Freedom to Political Prisoners!’ in Prytytski Street.
Another activist of European Belarus was detained by a police patrol. The guys were guarded to Frunzenski district police department and fingerprinted. They had to spend three hours at the police station. The police also drew up violation reports against them.
