According to Radio Liberty, Pastor Veniamin Brukh was put to Minsk deportee detention center by Belarusian customs officers. The reason for detention remains unknown.

‘Travel ban on Belarusian pro-Lukashenka politicians being lifted, the government would not accept a person who has made a great contribution to the spiritual development of people. I do not understand why Pastor Veniamin was not allowed to enter Belarus for no reason at all, - says Barys Charnahlaz, chief pastor of the Ukrainian Church of Jesus Christ.

‘We will do utmost to receive an official explanation for the decision. In any case, it is evident that the situation is a violation of human rights, - thinks lawyer Siarhei Shautsou.

‘Mr.Brukh, a Ukrainian citizen and founder of the Church of Jesus Christ, was at its head from 1991 till 2002, - says the statement by the unregistered organization Christian Human Rights House.
