Chair of Hrodna City Office of United Civil Party Fired

43-year-old Zmitser Slutski, chair of Hrodna city office of the United Civil Party, has been fired. The reason was that he missed some days of work because of the five-day arrest.

‘I came to work after the arrest. I was summonsed by the head of the staff department, deputy director general on ideology Siarhei Klepcha… I was put before a choice: whether to be fired because of the staff reduction or be fired for truancy with a note in the service record,’ commented Slutski.

He had to choose the first variant. According to him he worked there as a mechanic for 18 years and had no reprimands.
