Student Summoned for KGB Interrogation

Zmitser Padrez, a college student from Miadzel, was summoned by KGB for interrogation. The KGB officers asked questions about the Movement “For Freedom”, if he knows Alexander Milinkevich personally, and about people from his cell phone contact list. Activist of the Movement For Freedom, student of Belarusian Technological University Zmitser Padrez was detained before the European March in Miadzel. The police drew up a report of administrative violation, seized his cell phone, “European March” stickers and ordered to come to KGB. The dean of Zmitser’s faculty wanted to expel him for violation of the standing orders. However, the rector of the Belarusian State Technological University did not agree with the decision of the faculty administration. Zmitser Padrez is still a student.
