Belarus Takes 151th Place for Freedom of Mass Media

Yesterday international human right organization Reporters without Borders published its annual rating of mass media freedom.

Iceland rated first, Norway – second. The third place was taken by the former USSR republic – Estonia.

Belarus, just as a year ago, took 151^st place. Russia has improved its position a bit – this year it rates 144^th (in comparison with the last year’s 147^th). Ukraine holds 93^rd? Lithuania –23^rd? and Latvia – 12^th place.

The last in the rating are Eritrea (169^th) and North Korea (168^th).
