Yaraslau Hrychchenia is a suspect in the criminal case against the youth organization Young Front. He was summoned to Baranavichy prosecutor’s office for interrogation which was supposed to begin at noon.

However, instead of several hours of interrogation, Yaraslau Hryshchenia spent the whole day in the prosecutor’s office and was released only at 9 p.m. During the whole time of Yaraslau’s visit to the prosecutor’s office, the investigators demanded that he should sign a “repentance” paper and leave Young Front.

We reported earlier, on February 4th, 2006 police detained 27 regional and Minsk leaders of Young Front. KGB representatives threatened the young people with repression because they all refused to write statements about leaving Young Front.

Yaraslau Hryshchenia and another five leaders of Young Front face up to two years of jail for acting on behalf of unregistered organization, reports Young Front press service.
