Kastrychnitski Prosecutor’s Office of Mahiliou Conducts Interrogation on Young Front Case

On 18 April Kastrychnitski prosecutor’s office of Mahiliou interrogated the youth activists Maksim Azarau, Tatsiana Bulanava and Rastsislau Pankratau as witnesses in the criminal case against Young Front.

In his interview with RFE/RL Rastsislau Pankratau said: ‘We were interrogated by the senior investigator Karpikau. We stated that we couldn’t add anything to what we wrote in the KGB.’ He put it down and we signed the paper.

The human rights activist Aleh Hulak commented on the interrogation: ‘If a criminal case is brought, the law machinery must show its activity by holding certain measures, as this interrogation. Another reason is to intimidate youth on the eve of Chernobyl Way action, 26 April.
