Journalists Invited to Work on Draft Law on Information

On 2 April the non-governmental organization Belarusian Association of Journalists received a text of the draft law On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information as an answer to an inquiry to the so-called Belarusian parliament. ‘In case of interest we also invite you to take part in follow-on revision of this draft document as a part of a working group’, informed the covering letter signed by the chairman of a standing committee of the Chamber of Representatives on industry, fuel and energetic complex, transport, communications and entrepreneurship Anatol Paulovich.

Lawyers of the BAJ Center of legal defense of mass media are to prepare their suggestions and notes for the draft statement before 15 April, the press-service of the Belarusian Association of Journalists informs.
